    New Technology in Schools

    Two members of the DoTS team installing new technology in a classroomThe Department of Technology Services has been hard at work ensuring all classrooms and new schools are equipped with the neccassary technology in order to enrich and maximaize student learning and instructor collaboration. 

    This includes upgrading over 20,000 student workstations from Windows 7 to Windows 10 offering better integration with Office 365 and imaging all desktop computers.  In addition, over 280 Wireless Access Points and 30 Network Switches have been installed in the following new schools: Decatur Elementary, Cedar Park Elementary, Robert Eagle Staff, Licton Springs K8, Cascadia Elementary, Olympic Hills Elementary and Meany.
