Instructions below: If setup of district iPads is not working, or if you entered the wrong ID, it is best to reset the iPad. If you can’t get in to the iPad far enough to reset on your own, SPS tech can help. The fastest way to get SPS help is with an email providing them good information.

Email them at laptops@seattleschools.org. Put “iPad Reset Request” in the subject.  In the body of your message, include your students username AND serial number of the iPad. Serial Number is found on the box or in TINY letters on the back of the device. After emailing, leave your iPad plugged in AND connected to the internet. They will remotely reset and email you when complete.

Once done, restart setup using the instructions in this link. https://www.seattleschools.org/district/calendars/news/what_s_new/technology_for_remote_learning

*If you are using a district provided hotspot, you will need to call the tech line 206-252-0100 or visit a Tech Resource Center. Remote iPad resets cannot be done for those using the district hotspots.*
