Fall Festival – October 23 – Volunteers Needed
Summary: The Olympic View Fall Festival is right around the corner on October 23. Sign up to volunteer!
🎃 The Olympic View Fall Festival is right around the corner! Get ready to play fun games and win prizes, explore the haunted house, enjoy the cake walk, photo booth, cotton candy, and chili/stew cook-off.
This is the one and only opportunity for kids to wear their costumes, so feel free to wear them for the event.
From 4:00–4:30 PM, the Fall Festival will offer sensory-friendly early access for students who benefit from a quieter, less crowded environment. We ask other families to join us beginning at 4:30 PM so that students who need this accommodation can enjoy the festival with reduced crowds and stimulation.
🙋 We still have over 100 volunteer slots still open to help with setup, cleanup, and running both shifts at the Fall Festival. Older siblings and friends are welcome to help as well, it’s a great way to earn service hours!
The Mariner Moose mascot will be at the Fall Fest from 5-530 pm, come and say hi and take a photo!
🥣 Chili and Stew Contest – bring your best chili or stew and take home this year’s “Best Chili/Stew” title. Your entry also feeds Fall Festival guests and helps raise money to support the event. This is a great way to support the event if you can’t attend or can’t volunteer.
🎂 Cake Contest entry information can be found in the Fall Festival flyer kids brought home this past week. Awards at ALL grade levels! Bake and decorate your signature cakes and bring them to the cafeteria between 7:30 and 8:30 a.m. on Friday, 10/23!! Email Rob if you need an extra entry form or look for extras outside the main office. (Be sure to include the Cake Contest Entry form when you bring in your cake on Friday!)
