Multi-Language Learners (MLL)

Welcome to Olympic View! We are so happy to have you and your student at our school this year. Our school works hard to make sure all students feel welcome and seen in their classrooms, and we celebrate the diversity of languages and cultures in our school.

If your student is new to learning English, they will have the support of our multilingual team! Our team goes into classrooms to help students one-on-one or in small groups throughout the day to ensure they are active participants in their learning.

We also love getting to know our students’ families! The multilingual team hosts a monthly coffee event where we will talk about events around the school, ways to support your student at home, and volunteer opportunities. It is also a wonderful way to meet other families in our school community. You will receive an invitation to our next event through TalkingPoints. We hope to see you there!
