The Eagle – Week of September 14
The Eagle
Letter from Principal Bean
Dear Families,
Eagle Way Parade: Thanks to all the families who cheered on our students for the Eagle Way Parade on Friday. It is such a fun tradition. At OV, we “Take care of ourselves, each other, and our school!”
Family Connections Meetings: If you haven’t signed up for a family connections meeting with your child’s teacher, please follow this link: Fall 26-27 Family Connections Scheduling Link. Please make sure to select your student’s teacher from the dropdown menu.
Hispanic Heritage Month September 15-October 15: For the next month, OV students will be celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month. Hispanic Heritage Month is an annual observance from September 15 to October 15 that honors the history, culture, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans in the United States.
Olympic View Title 1 School: Part of being a Title 1 school requires that we create a “Student, Staff, and Parent Compact”. A compact is a written agreement that outlines how students, parents and teachers will work together to accomplish great things for our children in school and in life. To review this agreement, please go to the Title I information page on our school website.
Please review this with your child. After reviewing it, please click on this form to verify. OV Compact Verification Link
Wednesday Early Release: Just a reminder that moving forward every Wednesday students get out at 1:10.
Free Breakfast/Lunch: All students are eligible for a free lunch and breakfast!
Back to School Night: On Tuesday October 6, at 6:00 p.m., we will have our annual “Back to School Night.”
In partnership,
Mr. Bean (he/him)
Principal, Olympic View

Sign-ups will be distributed soon and the team will begin meeting by the end of September on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school.
